I am a middle-aged, cis-female, high school Principal who has fallen into leadership based on an odd mix of control-freakishness, and an kismet ability to be in the right place at the right time. I have an unrelenting need to share learning, a firm belief in the brilliance of all teens, and have benefited from great mentors.  I do not keep work and life separate. Life blends into my work and I like it that way.  I am smart but not book-smart.  Regrettably, I will forget your name if I meet you. However, I will always remember an idea that can make my school, school board and learning in general, better.
